Subject: Cooking a beef brisket

Randolph Co NC
I do a little cooking from time to time such as pork BBQ, chicken, roast beef, but wanting to do a beef brisket or beef BBQ, I don't know if it's the same thing or not, just wondering about the cooker, the rub, (dry or a sauce) the cut of meat. Didn't want to just pull a chunk of meat outta the freezer and go to cooking without a little info from some of ya'll.
