Get a zero turn with out a doubt. Your mowing times will drop in half.
Deere makes a lot of different grades of mowers. The ones you see in Home Depot / lowes are junk. Their commercial line is great. I had a gravely and upgraded to a Deere and couldn't be happier. Zero problems with it so far.
