Agreed, it is getting too convoluted so I'll just say he needs roughly 8-10oz (basically the whole cup full that comes in the bag) of milk replacer to make a bottle and he needs at the very minimum 2 bottles a day could easily take double that and even triple in short order.  Bagged colostrum won't kill them, he did need it a lot sooner than 30 hours though.  I'd say if you didn't do anything for 30 hours he just about had to have sucked to still be alive though.
