Subject: RE: Bird flu

Beresford, SD
Was talking to a fella that operates a business a stones throw from an infected layer farm in Sioux County Iowa. He stated that the birds closest to the ventilation system (every fan) were the first to get infected and die and birds farthest from the fans did not show any symptoms yet. This is what an employee at the bird farm told him. I'm no vet but common sense would force you to come to the conclusion that this is now airborne. Wild birds may have started it but I feel it is now airborne. I'll add that there is another layer farm 3 miles from this one that broke a day earlier. My goodness I hope the cattle biz never see's a disaster like this!
