I was told that hatcheries can't possibly re-stock these farms in a timely way. Just not enough capacity. Some older unaffected sites are putting their birds into a "molt" to get another cycle of production as pullets are hard to come by.
Was alos told that if we had a week of temps over 86F the virus would disappear 'till fall. FWIW
