Subject: RE: Manure tank size for JD 8R

Sunnyside, WA
I am planning to buy a VTI toolbar for either tank size. Should pull easy in the field. Both tanks are Houle

Figured a 6 row, 24" spacing on the 7300 would give me a full pass on a 1/2 mile field or a full round on a 1/4 mile field to apply 10,000 GPA, which is usually what we apply based on manure samples and crop needs.

On a 9500, I would go to an 8 row, 24" that would give the same application rates.

Tankers around here seem to be 7000 up to 7800. Part of the reason I was thinking of going 9500.

I would prefer a pipeline, but have to cross an irrigation canal and get a lot of neighbors to work with me.
