SW MN - mt. lake/windom | Sometimes bigger does not gain that much. If 9.5k is fifth wheel, I would want as much weight and contact area as possible. May want to check specs on wagons to find out how much tongue weight is transferred to tractor, may want duals to minimize compaction as well as traction. If you already have toolbar or selected toolbar with known width and majority of fields are square quarters and know what rate you will apply run the math, sometimes larger tanks just mean you run empty at 1.25 rounds and have extra trips across field reducing efficiency. If you can foresee a reason/benefit to run tanker trucks for longer hauls, may just want to size wagon to tanker truck size. | |
