Subject: RE: CSR vs PI ?

NE SD, WC MN
In my limited experience with CSR it is not very accurate. I used it when I was land-judging in Iowa. Almost every soil, black, yellow, sandy, clayey, or wet came up as suitable for good corn growing. (This kind of explained why Iowa farmers tend to till everything and grow corn on it, but that's another discussion). I would suggest talking to your local extension soil specialist or someone with similar qualifications to give you more insight as to a good productivity measure.
