Subject: RE: trouble with Hobart 190 mig welder bird nesting at feed roll

If it's anything like the feed roll on my 187, the labeling on the feed roll can be mistaken. My welder has a feed roll with two grooves, one for .020 and the other for .030. When I first looked at it I thought the label was for the groove on that side of the roll, but it's actually the opposite. The label, as read when the roll is installed, indicates which groove is currently being used.
