That's true, it give you some flexibility.  Funny how perspective varies, but I'd look at it as I can keep the MGA steady while I work the Rumensin level up ;-
But handling the two costs about 5 cents a head a day more than having them together, so $10 per head.  Part of the reason the steer heifer spread is wider.  It's a paperwork p***ing match between the two companies and the cattlemen are paying the price (company Z gets most of the blame).
