SW So Dakota | A couple weeks ago my friend went out in the morning to feed and found 5 dead yearling heifers. The vet posted some of them and said the lungs were full of fluid and died of heart failure. The lab reported Rumensin poisoning. They feed the same liquid supplement that I do and they figured enough of it had settled out in the bottom of the tank and they got too much in one feeding. I've never circulated the supplement like you're supposed to until this year. I guess that's why they tell you to do it. | |
