yep, it was common practice. We always hear the phrase "history repeats itself, especially if it's not written down well"...I'm thinking there are some other practices farmer used to do that would possibly fit into our operations to a point also.
My dad made mention of this the other day. We were talking about draper heads and he said to look back in the 40s and 50s all the combines/ swathers had a draper style head now they are the hot items!!!! |
