NC Ohio | I believe there are a couple of diseases that the hogs can carry and not be affected but can cause issues with your cattle. I'm small time & F-F a few hogs and calve & finish out some cattle, but I never have them in the same area. They can sometime touch noses, but I never put cattle in a pen after hogs unless it's cleaned first. Could you run the hogs through after you rotate the cattle out? I don't think I would run them together though. I'm thoughts might be a little off though since I have everything from week old piglets to 500 lbs sows and day old calves to 2000 lb bulls. | |
