Subject: feeding bottle calves in double L pig nursery

SW MN
Just doing some thinking- Has anyone ever converted one of the double L pig nursery into feeding bottle calves? My problem is that I do not have any current buildings that would work well for small calves (the old barn burned down right after I moved back to the farm)

I know of one that could probably be bought reasonably.
A couple thoughts- I would put an automatic feeder in it. Ventilation should be pretty good no matter what the weather, and I could wash it down and disinfect in between groups.

I have a friend that I do chores for from time to time who has been using an automatic feeder with bottle calves and it seems to work pretty well overall.
So is this completely nuts? Will they all die from scours in a situation like this? Would not having access to more area be a big issue before they are weaned? would like to get into this without breaking the bank....
