The bigger issue is ventilation. You would be tempted to tighten it up in winter, but you NEED fresh air or they will drop
Like flies. I would recommend an air tube install. I am not familiar with a double L building. Is it insulated, heated? What kind of flooring does it have?

We have auto Lely feeders and works good for us. We bottle feed them in their own hutch for 7-10 days to let the. Get their immune system established before we introduce them to group housing.
