Douglass Kansas | Get them treated as close to planting as possible. I get my soybeans treated a few days before I start planting this way its not going bad before I even intend to start planting. I have the soybeans for double crop treated at a later date a few day before I start planting them. My dealer has been able to get them treated and delivered within 2 days after I tell them that I am ready for them. From the time I intend to start planting until it is too late to plant is around 60 days here, so if they are treated a month before I will start there is the possibility that they will be planted at the end of the 90 window. I have been seeing what looks like a lot of nodulation on soybeans that were planted after being treated for 45 days. I try to keep the proboxes in the shade to help keep the seed cooler. | |
