Western-Central Lower Michigan | Rumor has it the wind farm company tries to be a good neighbor about private roads, works with the county on public roads. If you get windmills, the checks are good. I wish the Govt never gave the tax incentives for the utilities to do this. Over all electric rates are higher because utilities are allowed to charge more for "clean energy" and are subsidized by the govt.
Ask when the wind farm is done, who restores your land. I was told IF that ever were to happen, they would remove the towers, and cover the cement with dirt, and walk away.
