| A wind farm company is trying to lease ground in this vicinity. I have been reading on Ag Talk about different thoughts about them. Does it have an adverse or beneficial effect on the value of the ground? My initial idea is I would not want them on tillable ground, but in pastureland it might be ok. Are our gravel roads going to be ruined by the heavy construction traffic? I doubt the county will do much with upkeep of roads. It probably depends alot on the wind company. I know I was happy when I finally got rid of oil leases on my property. |
