I believe he (not him, but his instructors) also suggested in one of the breakouts that if rainstorm was in the forecast for the next 48 hrs (that would be 2 days!), to not plant. Let the equipment sit & do something else.

Sounds do-able....right? I'm quite sure sitting there watching the sun shine would help you realize the inaccuracies of the weather forecasts on a small area basis. I don't know of any forecasts that are dependable for small areas, like townships, or even smaller.
