Dennis, in our county if off farm or custom work exceeds $40,000 for three years in a row they tax the house separately. Home 1/4 taxes doubled from it.
That could be the case here as well I don't know, I never been in that situation, I have done some custom work but it has never exceeded 40k a year I do know of one guy that farms a lot of land (all rented) but only owns 5 acres of land (where his house sets) but still has to pay taxes on his house. |
