South Dakota | What is the best option for financing a rural home on more than 68 acres. The value of the land will exceed the value of the structures. I have some equity in my current house but most of that equity will be needed to do repairs to the house on the farm. I could afford about 5% down. Our off farm income more than makes the full payment on the farm. What options have you used?
