I had the one that broke his leg at my place ground up for hamburger but it had a compound break .
I would try to fix that one of yours because the economics don't work very well on hamburger for a feeder calf.

$350 processing bill
160 lbs of ground beef packaged
$5.35 a lb retail
$856
-350 processing
$506 net $
But better than a rendering bill on mine
