Sorry, still trying to work this all out and not having much luck with photos. Previous is planter, obviously. This is a pic of beans on 5" double skip. Or a 7 1/2" twin row I guess, whatever floats your boat!
I have never been overly worried about crusting, the rapid is pretty good at leaving ground in good condition after planting. Rightly or wrongly, I am more worried about ground cover for weed control. I would be right planting a bit lighter than normal for a bushy variety to a slimmer variety?
Pic below is of variety Asgrow A6785. i believe it was grown early 90's over there and was released here 93-94.
