Mine is a HP but does not scan. I have a stand alone scanner. I highly recommend Laser over Ink. I can't tell you what it cost per page but it has to be less than ink. For one thing, most of the things I print are black and white anyway so the color toner hardly ever needs replacement. Its also fast and sharp print.
