SouthCentral WI | Can't say as I know the answer, but I like to think of it as " the worst day of fishing is better than the best day of working"
I do 5 gal batches in a 6 gal carboy. That makes about 54 bottles of beer. Since it takes a little bottle fermentation to get the co2 in the bottle, I try to keep at least 3 months in stock. I order my mixes from Wind River in WI. Cost about 50 to 60 dollars and can make a few good beers. Right now I'm leaning towards the lagers and having a real good time. Speaking of that I need to order a couple of kits and get to work on a batch.
I use my turkey deep frier set on the deck to boil my mash. I'm all about dual purpose.
