| Send me an email and I'll send you all the pdf's I have. Badger is right about the torque converter. It sounds like you did it right, but you might want to check (yes it's a pain to pull out). If I remember right there are 2 ears on the TC that drive the pump and the TC can feel like it's about in place. However, it goes in just a little farther when it's right. Apparently it can be installed with the TC not fully seated.
Btw, I'm pretty sure the MT653 predates wide use of synthetics so whatever you have in there is likely not the culprit at this point (could cause shift problems, etc later on if it's way wrong). | |
