Here is the background. My daughter lives in Kansas works for a company based in Iowa and they supply her a company vehicle. Company pays all expenses, Iowa tags and insurance. 
Question is, local small hometown cop stops her and tells her she needs to have the vehicle registered in Kansas since the vehicle is parked at her house when she is not on the road. Doesn't seem right but don't know the law. I know she is not on the hook for any fines or anything, the company will take care of it just brings up a good topic for discussion.
