You could make a list of fields in one column. Populate the column next to it with =RANDBETWEEN(1,2) to have Excel randomly assign 1s and 2s to each property. Crude, but should work.



Maybe I'm not following this completely but having Excel assign a 1 or 2 to each field should result in about half the fields going to each party but I don't see where this would take into account the value of those fields. Let's suppose there are 100 fields. With the Random number generating function each party would probably get about 50 fields each but the value of each parties 50 fields might be considerably different.
