For me, I'd get congested, cough, runny nose, etc. starting early winter. Since I started getting the flu shot I have a very peaceful winter. As someone else stated, more for my family's health than mine. I use to say, " I don't get the flu, I'm just a carrier". There was actually a lot of truth to that!
