Highland Center, in Southeast Iowa | As iseedit noted, there's the "flu", a digestive disruption from one of many causes that can cause a victim to wish for death, then there's the flu......respiratory influenza that the flu shot is designed to help prevent. Seems to be a lot of confusion everywhere about which is what and what is which. That said, since I'm around my mother and our grandkids quite a bit each winter, I get a flu shot more to help keep them healthy than for my own good. Hubs gets one thru VA each year and neither of us has had any issues following the shot. And we've neither had anything but a general cruddy cold once in a while. |
