Northwest kansas | I play modded minecraft quite a bit lately, and I use the FTB launcher. It installs the mods automatically. I have 8 gigabytes of ram, a 3.4 ghz processor, and a nice video card. That being said, I get about 100-150 fps playing minecraft, way more than I need. I think you could easily do 4 gigs of ram and a 3.0 processor and have plenty, my cousin uses worse computers and the integrated graphics card does not work very well at all, you will get frame rate lag, down to 10-15 fps pretty easy. I would just update your video card a little and be fine with what you have. You can go to Walmart and get a real account, being that you have to have one to play on the computer, for $27 and tax.
Edit: just read what you have and you should be plenty good.
