your great pics and descriptive posts are making me think seriously about dedicating a lot of plots to investigating early overseeding of corn.
When you have a chance, can you elaborate more on your 4th point:

4- we did moisture monitoring this summer and was extremely dry for a good spell.... InnerSeed always had higher moisture level.... Could see different seeding rates on a yield map.

How were you monitoring soil moisture?
and what did your yield monitor data tell you about seeding rates?
