West Union, IOWA FLOLO Farm 52175
Joel, simple garden moisture sensor and regular soil thermometer,I found at the local farm fleet....

(But nothing to fancy)

But it was after I could start seeing a visual difference.....and heard about the possibility of sharing moisture....

The local NRCS guy is doing multiple site, temp monitoring and should have more scientific data.... I know for sure he saw some interesting things last spring. I'm trying to get him fired up to run more extensive testing so we'd have Better data...

As for the yield maps, I was getting my seeder set up, so it didn't record the seeding rates the first 3/4 of field...so most of my test is based on memory. The rates are going to be very key to making it work. On some parts, one rate would work better. On other parts....another rate would work better. Yet, the one rate exceeded all....long story short, ALL showed +results... Even on a gravel knoll

If I get a chance, I'll add some pics later.... Or email them
