This won't help anymore this year, but here is something to think about next fall.  I know two producers that chopped or wet bale wrapped green stalks right after harvesting high moisture corn or earlage.  Great cow feed, much more digestible and palatable than rehydrated stalks.  No need to blend with any syrup or wet distillers or gluten.
