I was thinking about the situation the US is getting to also with all its nation debt.  I think the US has as much debt as it does annual GDP. Yes?  Then I look at Japan and it has about 2.4 times national debt than GDP. With the US a 1:1 ratio and Japan with a 2.4:1 ratio it looks like the US can continue a long time yet, seeing how Japan has not yet blown up.  Yes?  Long time meaning more than 10 years.
