We did 3 fields (small) right away and used them on a truck scale. Rest of the season most field within 200 lbs on hundreds of thousands of lbs. Not everyone has a truck scale but it makes for good calibrations.


This is exactly why most times the calibration with ag leader doesnt work out. What is described above is not the correct way to do it! Read the manual that comes with all ag leader screens, it explains how to do it correctly. Problem is most people dont want to take the extra hr to calibrate it the right way but yet they can spend time on here crabbing why its off. What is described above may and can work at times. if it did consider your self lucky but rest assured the bushels are not placed in the correct location in the field as well if you did the calibration process correctly.
