gene- Are you referring to desktop computers? If so, there is a decent chance that you could pull the old hard drive and install it in the functioning desktop fairly easily- it will just show up as another drive on your computer. I've done it a few times on hard drives that would not boot to recover data. No problems continuing to run XP machines. They do have some limitations, but work well with the basic stuff. good luck -jim |
