Deere's only interest these days is keeping the stockholders happy. They seem to have forgotten that that requires that you keep your customers happy first. Maybe they will get the point after their loyal customers take their business elsewhere. I used to be a "it's gotta be green or I won't own it" person, but the last 10-15 years I have been checking out all brands of any equipment I am interested in. Found out there is some really nice equipment out there that is not green! In fact, most of the equipment I have purchased in the last several years has NOT been John Deere. I now own a White planter, a Krause soil finisher (and disk chisel), a Case-IH tandem disk, a New Holland center-pivot mo/co and a MF/Hesston small square baler. Couldn't be happier with my purchases!
