| I think Roy has it about right. Pasture is renting over $60 an acre here. You can maybe summer a pair on 2 acres with close to 4 acres needed year round. You know what fertilizer price looks like. Seeing reports that Mo is projected to lose 80,000 hay acres this year, U.S. total 2 million. We are going to have to lose livestock numbers or you won't be able to buy hay. At some point we should see good prices. The trick is how far down the road that is going to be. | |
