| Reminds me when I was battling tree roots in my line. I'm a do-it-yourself kind of person so I rented a 25 foot rooter... it didn't reach. I went back and got the 50 footer and manage to pull up a wad which wrapped around the end of the rooter and had to be pulled backwards up 50 feet of line, back pumping the water with it. Thank god I had an outside clean out.
Unfortunately that still didn't get it all. At that point I was starting to form blisters from having to yank the heck out of the line to pull it back out and finally just called the pro. Maybe I did the majority of the work for him, but for the cost of the first rental, he had the job done in about 15 minutes (I had spent hours).
