Yes, ours is a cutter. Ideally 50-60% moisture seems to be what most guys want. If it's supposed to start raining in two hours, it seems just about any moisture will do! As the baler operator, I like it on the drier side, I think it's not as hard on the machine. The plunger will get 'growling' as it runs back and forth when it's really wet.
