| Best bet is to go into the season prepared if you think it is going to be an issue..... When a combine is stuck that bad...... it's too late.
Do some pre planning. Set the combine up ahead of time with the cable already underneath tied to the sub frame up towards the final drives, route to the back and tie in someplace solid on the tail end. Keep it short and loop it up at the rear tow ring. Then at that point all you do is undo your loop out the short section. When you do get stuck and hook your tow rope etc on and go...
Remember..... only use threaded clevis..... A little pre planning here goes a long long long ways.... It's to late when it's buried and no...... fun to try and route then..... It's easy before hand if you need to fab up a spreader bar or something to help you tie in up front. | |
