I always put the strap around the pivot point on the inside around the pivot pin. Them you are pulling off the frame and its a centered pull. That tow strap on the back if its stuck very bad is a good way to get someone killed. I've seen several break off and come back at the tractor. They are a sorry excuse for a pulling point.
