Here's one of Vanguard's funds

8.42 10 year return and 5.61 since inception.

That fund doesn't have any better return then an equity indexed life policy, plus you have a risk of loss, and plus no death benefit.

Are the fees higher with mine, YES. Are the benefits greater? YES.
