S Illinois
Any reason to believe why USDA is over reporting last years exports? According to the latest supply demand report we are to export 48.77MMT. According to their historical data http://apps.fas.usda.gov/export-sales/wkHistData.htm we are at 45.85MMT. This tally has been between 96%-97% of the USDA final export number during the last 7 years. At 97% we have to reach 47.3MMT on the historical data. So we need to ship 1.12 over the last 1.3 weeks in the marketing year. It looks like we are on pace to meet the projection. That Monday export inspection number is a very poor number to track what the USDA will use for their export number.
