Tn. Ky. Va Tri State Area | The heifers that I calved out this spring were hand picked in the sale ring. Bought the top end of angus type heifers going to 2 sales per week for 5 or 6 weeks. Bred them to reg Angus bulls low birth weight and they also had actual low birth weights themselves. Calves were very small with vigor. On the other hand you will have breached births, folded back front legs, butt first, bent heads, and those that go over will naturally have those big O'ld calves. Then after it's all over u got a set of cows with their life in front of them ready to make u money. |
