runningihred - 8/30/2014 12:46 I will be 38 years old in Nov. My daughter is 5 and my son is 3 3/4 years old. Unlike most of you I feel twice my age and getting more tired of all the bull$hit every year that goes by. I't sure as hell don't seem like it's getting easier over time here. Having 2 or 3 preschool kids with the oldest not in school yet is really the toughest time no matter what occupation you are in. It does get better over time when the kids get older and can be more self sufficient. I hope you have some family around to help with the kids. Tough time on a marriage too. You are not alone feeling as you do. Just a stage in family life. May be a bit tougher on the farm but these days will pass quickly as kids grow up before you know it. Having 3 kids ages 5, 3, and 1 is really the pits for awhile. Getting a family of of 4 or 5 with preschoolers to church on time with socks that match should be a required final exam for any MBA degree! Hang in there. Jim |
