west central Iowa | Neighbor called once and said my bull was out. I went and chased him in, about the time he went in the gate I saw a freeze brand, not my bull. I asked around and nobody in the area was missing a bull. He was a pretty good bull and getting along with my bull ok so I left him. About the time I figured no one was going to claim him a guy 5 miles away called and identified the bull and said it was his and would come get him "one of these days". Time went on and the 2 bulls stopped getting along and my bull ended up with a broken leg and bullet. Then the guy picked up his bull without contacting me first, he was shirttail relative to the landlord where the bull was. Then before I could get settled up with him, he had a heart attack and died. | |
