Subject: RE: Are they as good as a Polaris Ranger?

NC KS
We have 13 Ranger 800. Bought a used Honda Big Red (fore runner to Pioneer) for a second one. Ranger is like a fully optioned pickup. Honda is a bare bones work truck. I could see where the price difference is new as it is in the nice things like speedometer, tilt wheel, power steering, electric engage on 4wd, etc. Having said all of that, the Honda drivetrain is outstanding until 38mph (speed or rev limiter kicks). If Honda had 50 mph top end, It would be the favorite due to better drivetrain. Haven't had Honda long enough to know how well CV joints hold up.
