Subject: RE: Are they as good as a Polaris Ranger?

Driftless SW Wisconsin

I have a 2006 Ranger 500 basic model. See no reason to change. No problems with it at all.  Just have to be careful not to shift between high and low gear unless at a full stop. It is NOT a power shift!. Excellent suspension, ground clearance and ride. Bench seat is easy in and out, seats three. Good top speed.  About the most useful tool on the farm. I was out fixing fences with it today. The Ranger is great in the woods. I can't think of anything it is lacking for my use that would cause me to buy anything else.
